As a society, I feel as though there is a predetermined idea of what beauty is supposed to be. We are exposed to it every day through TV, magazines, billboards, and other mainstream media..
As an artist, I strive to see and portray splendor in the ghosts and skeletons that are generally overlooked, or even viewed as unattractive or undesirable by the public eye: a graffitied train car, a dilapidated barn, a burnt out factory, an abandoned, decaying building.
Art is about having no boundaries, as well as inspiring others to recognize beauty in all things, even that which is outside the norm.
